PROJEKT, TEILNEHMER & VERWIRKLICHUNG

Das Bilder-Buchprojekt „KINDER Momente der Menschlichkeit“ ist das Ergebnis einer weltweiten Zusammenarbeit im internet, unter Nutzung dort bestehender Netzwerke, bei denen Bilder aus 89 Ländern Aufnahme fanden. Rund 50 Fotografen aus aller Welt folgten dem Aufruf der Initiatorin Birgit Yoneda, berühmte Preisträger, professionelle Fotografen, aber auch Amateure, wie z.B. Ärzte in Krisenregionen und Mitarbeiter internationaler Hilfsorganisationen, die ihre Fotos zur caritativen Nutzung unentgeltlich zur Verfügung stellten. Aus den rund 300 eingehenden Bildern wurden 130 ausgewählt und zu den Themen Unschuld, Freude/Spass, Geschwisterlichkeit, Vertrauen, Schönheit, Freundschaft, Neugier, Genuss, Fähigkeiten und Hoffnung eingegliedert, mit passender Poesie unterlegt und geschmückt. Der Vertrieb erfolgt zunächst über den Verkauf auf Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltungen, in der Aufbaustufe ist ein Vertrieb über einen Großverlag angedacht. Ebenso ist ein Erwerb über die internet homepages der teilnehmenden Fotografen möglich, sowie unter www.avisys.at.

LEITGEDANKE

Der Grundgedanke der Initiatorin lag darin, kein weiteres Buch für caritative Zwecke zu produzieren, das ausschließlich das Leid und die Verzweiflung von Kindern zum Thema nimmt, um Spenden zu erhalten. Hiermit sollen in keinster Weise die guten Absichten genannter Bücher in Frage gestellt werden, oder deren Dienlichkeit zur guten Sache bestritten. Jeder Versuch der Hilfe zählt. Es sollte hier der Versuch unternommen werden einen Kontrapunkt zu setzen, indem die positiven Gemeinsamkeiten, sich darstellend in Ausdrücken, Gefühlen und symbolisch abgebildeten Handlungen, sichtbare Verbindungen schaffen zwischen Kindern unter-schiedlicher Hautfarbe, Herkunft und Lebenssituation. Der Fotoband zelebriert die kleinen, mal übermütigen, mal tiefsinnigen, mal anrührenden Gesten der Kinder in ihrem Alltagsleben hier und überall auf dem Globus. Er ist ein Kaleidoskop der Begegnung, der Verständigung und der stillen Übereinkunft durch Gesten, Blicke, Haltungen und zeigt, daß alle Kinder die selben Empfindungen und Wünsche gemein haben, ganz gleich wo sie leben und welchen Lebensstandard und Bildungsgrad sie besitzen. Ihre offenen Gefühle, ihre unverfälschte Wahrheit und ihr Mitgefühl sollen uns erinnern: das Leben dieser Kinder ist unser Leben! Hier können Sie nun das Ergebnis unserer weltweiten Suche entdecken, wir hoffen, dass Sie in dieser Sammlung blättern und sich selbst in diesen Kinder wieder erkennen, wie Sie selbst einmal waren und innerlich vielleicht noch immer sind und damit den Bezug herstellen zwischen Ihren Gefühlen und den Kindern dieser Welt und dadurch mit allen Menschen auf diesem Planeten und dem Leben im Universum. Zur Erreichung dieses hochgestellten, idealistischen Zieles bitten wir Sie herzlichst um Mithilfe. Helfen Sie uns auf diesem weiten Weg des füreinander Daseins mit dem Erwerb dieses Buches. PROJECT, PARTICIPANTS & REALIZATION

The photo-book-project „CHILDREN moments of humanity“ is the result of a worldwide cooperation using the internet and its existing networks for collecting photographs from 89 countries. About 50 photographers from all over the world have joined the call of the initiator Birgit Yoneda, famous prize-winners, professional photographers but also amateurs, as doctors working in crisis zones and staff of international aid organizations, donating their pictures for charity without any refund. From the 300 photographs received for this project 130 have been selected and sorted under the subjects innocence, joy/fun, siblings affection, trust, beauty, friendship, curiosity, pleasure, skills and hope. Furthermore they have been decorated with matching poetry. The book will be distributed in the first step through sales at charity events, the second step should be taken by a publishing house. Also it will be possible to purchase the book at the websites of the participating photographers and under www.avisys.at.

CENTRAL THEME

The leading motive of the initiator was not to create another book for charity, filled exclusively with the sorrow and despair of children in order to receive donations. It is clearly stated here, that neither the good intentions nor the great service provided by these books should not be criticised in any way. Every kind of help is needed. This book should be regarded as an attempt to create a counterexample, focussing on positive similarities, revealing themselves in expressions, emotions and symbolic actions captured by the camera, becoming visible connections between children of different skin, origin and life situation. This photo-book is celebrating these little gestures, sometimes high-spirited, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes touching, of children in their daily life all over the globe. It is a kaleidoscope of encounter, of understanding and silent agreement through gestures, glances, postures showing that all children have the same feelings and wishes in common, regardless of where they live, their standard of life and level of education. Their ability to show feelings open, their unadulterated truth and their compassion should remind us: The life of these children is our life! Now you will have the chance to discover the result of our worldwide research and we hope that you will flick through this collection of pictures, finding yourself in some of these children, taking you back to your own childhood and your inner child. We hope that you will find your own personal connection to the feelings of the children of our world opening a door to all human beings and the whole universe.
